hi there I’d like to tell you about what I think in the five biggest myths about spiritual awakening myth number one is that spiritual awakening is uncommon or unusual so we tend to think with it so many people who live in our shrubs or monasteries in India or maybe Tibet it suddenly those people who spend years of decades studying spiritual texts living with our gurus decades meditating and so forth we tend to things only then we become spiritually awakened but I found that in my research spiritual awakening is far from uncommon it happens to a lot of seemingly ordinary people in the midst of everyday life in particular it happens to people go through intense psychological turmoil for example people who are diagnosed with cancer or another serious illness he boosts up from intense depression or bereavement or addiction it’s often when these people are deep in the midst of psychological turmoil just when they think they’ve lost everything they undergo a kind of identity shift their old ego seems to fade away in the midst of the turmoil and pressure the new identity seems to emerge inside them a new spiritually awakened self is born but these people often don’t have a background in spiritual traditions or practices so they usually don’t understand what’s happened to them it takes them a few months or even a few years for them to build a framework up to understand what’s happened to them so my strong feeling is based on my research is that there are probably thousands of spiritually awakened people all around us in the everyday world we don’t usually know about myth number two is that it’s not possible to live in a continual state of wakefulness so surely if we were enlightened and living in a state of continual ecstasy surely we’d find it possible to live in the world we’d find impossible to deal with all the tests and shores of everyday life like how would we drive a car how’d we go shopping have we pay our bills are so forth but I found that in contrast awaken people actually become better at living in the world they actually find it easier to live in the world the important thing to remember is that when you wake up you don’t lose the ability to concentrate to narrow your attention down to particular tasks so when you need to you can tune out of your X Z or sense of oneness or expansiveness you can tune out of that and focus your attention on driving your car and your bills or guys in your life and making decisions and so forth in fact in some ways awaken people actually become better at these things because their minds are less cluttered the minds are clearer there’s less thought chatter in their minds so we actually found it easier to function in the world myth number three is that awakened individuals become indifferent world become detached from everyday life they’re indifferent to the world’s progress I think this comes from the idea that in order to be awakened you have to move into a monastery or an ashram you have to take yourself away from everyday life and also you have to go into yourself you have to turn your attention away from the world out there and focus your attention on your inner world but this doesn’t necessarily mean that you become indifference the world in fact I’ve found in my research that awaken people tend to become more concerned with the world they have a strong desire to heal the world to contribute to the world they feel a strong sense of mission to help the human race of development they become more altruistic and more idealistic more concerned with global issues myth number four is that Awakening is the endpoint of our development so when we become spiritually awakened where else is our letter go sure surely we’ve reached a combination of our possible developments and that’s it we’ve become enlightened but in reality spiritual awakening is not the end of the journey this is beginning of a different journey it’s not the end of a road it’s as if we shift up to a different road maybe a road which is higher up the mountain road with a more expansive panoramic landscape road which is more beautiful and more invigorating but it’s still a road it’s still a journey in turn and a deepening away from this there’s still a continual unfolding of new realities new realms of awareness the journey never ends the journey continues rather the finally myth number five is that in wakefulness the world is revealed to be an illusion but I found that people who wake up they don’t see the world as an illusion the world actually becomes more real world becomes infused with spiritual energy becomes more sacred more alive because everything is imbued with experience the same is true of the body the body becomes sacred as well so there’s no division between the spirit and the body the body is a manifestation of spirit in the same way there’s no division between the material world in the spiritual world because the material world is also spiritual the material is spiritual so everything is sacred everything is alive and everything is intensely real rather than English rather than English so many thanks for listening and watching all best wishes and blessings [Music]

I did know alot more then evrn I think I knew I knew then becausr I've been tainted with age but as I've experienced this spiritual awakening, I'm open to more and to share with others that lifes not that bad. I've learned that the more love that you put in,the more love you get out but you will never learn love unless you learn from the truth,The ligjt and the word. The one only Truth ,Yeshua

Good stuff Steve. Thankfully the Light can penetrate any crack in our ego defences, at any time It chooses. 🙂 Dylan

took me around a year to finally realize. psychedelics and research is what did it for me. simple stuff and yet weird for the world to hear

Thank you for this. 💚 This really sounds hard to believe, but I've just seen that Sri Avinash an enlightened Spiritual master is transmitting the enlightened state & he calls it the satori transmission. 🙇 People are experiencing a taste of enlightenment through him within minutes. It just seems so rare and incredibly precious that I felt the need to share about it. I didn't believe it until I saw it. See for yourself! #sriavinashsatoritransmission 🙏🙇

Very helpful, Sathya Sai Baba ,"The man of miracles" had the ability to control matter i.e.materialise objects, and make them disappear or change one object into another ( sadly some accused him of being a magician) said there is no separate world of Spirit and matter, that all is God, it just appears in different forms or no form at all..formless energy.
In Advaita ,it is sometimes claimed by some that the Universe is an illusion, it doesn't exist, it's a dream ,this is a dangerous misunderstanding, a myth as Steve states.
Its an illusion only by the fact that matter is not as solid as it appears, right now, tiny neutrinos are passing through our bodies and the earth..the Universe Is materialised Spirit just as ice is materialized water .
