As part of the Culinary Industry I found that Chinese Cuisine Always make good use of all their herbs and spices. You can actually notice it the way they preserve foods and spices for future use. The good thing about being a country side gives you an easy access of resources like you have all the plant base to use for cooking, freshly harvest fruits and vegetables, very safe and organic unlike those vegetables used in some well known restaurants that needs to undergo test to detect if it is GMO or not.
